Allison got her culinary degree from Secchia Institue for Culinary Technology in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is a Navy veteran, and had worked as a Regional Chef for 6 years with a national company.
After a downsizing and loss of her corporate job, Allison created Butcher Betties. It started with our spices, meat seasonings, Bacon Marmalade, an online store and various farmers markets. At the same time, she created a relationship and butchery internship with Avril-Bleh's Meat Market in downtown Cincinnati, aspiring to own her own pinup rockabilly themed butcher shop. Next, there is more exciting things happening for Allison and her "Betties" in 2017!
Her passion for the classic pin-up styles and rockabilily trends combined with everyone's love for high quality food makes for a rocking combination - Butcher Betties.
